About this campaign
Little Luna appeared out of the blue at my neighbors house crying very loudly under the car. She was terrified & would not let me approach. When I attempted, she would run. She appeared to be injured but it was dark so I could not tell. I knew I had to trap her, so I set up a trap with some tuna at my neighbors house & was able to safely bring her inside. It appears she had been attacked by a dog.
Little Luna is only about 4-5 months old & is a very happy little girl that loves to run, climb, jump, and play with toys. We didn’t have the heart to euthanize her when initially asked because she seems so happy & she’s trying…so we had to try to help her! Please help us get her the medical care she needs!
My husband & I take care of 10 feral cat colonies & buy food out of pocket for over 100 cats. We don’t have an extra $700 to spend on a cat we just rescued right now. Any help is appreciated!
We took her for a second opinion today to Ridgeline vet clinic to see Dr. Reedy as she is very knowledgeable. Dr. Reedy did not think it would be a good idea to open her up at the spine and attempt to fix a detached tail because it could very possibly do more harm than good. She would like to cut most of her tail off though, as much as possible.
Luna loves to cuddle & talk. Her prognosis is good & she can have a fairly normal life without any special accommodations. She loves to be where the people are & be the center of attention. She begs for pets & scratches. She’s an expert biscuit maker already! She would make a purrfect cuddle partner for a very lucky person!
