Luna is a 2-year-old Cavapoo in Jacksonville, FL, who needs $2,000 for Luxating Patella Surgery.

Luna, a Cavapoo (King Cavalier & Toy Poodle) has been with us for almost 2wonderful years. We had found her from a breeder. Her life has been so bright and playful. We currently live in a 1 bedroom apartment, but she enjoys her time with her ball and at the dog park. Within her first year of life, Luna had fractured her right hip and needed emergency surgery called Femoral Head Ostectomy.

Luna lives in a 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor. She sleeps in 1 of her 5 beds in our bedroom. She loves the local dog parks where she can stretch her legs and meet other dogs. It’s important to have her socialize. She loves to swim, play fetch, having her tummy tickled, and do her different tricks for treats. She loves getting snuggles from her mom, and loves playing with her dad.

Luna is best friends with my mom’s dogs, Bear, Cooper and Ellie. She is happiest when she is chasing them around the backyard and playing a game of tag. Her best trick that is up her sleeve is she knows how to play dead! She will do anything for a little treat! She also makes tons of little and loud!- Noises! I have never met a dog that has as much character as her. She is loved tremendously.

Due to a genetic disorder, her left knee has become out of place, or in other words, has become a grade 2-3 luxating patella. We are incredibly saddened and upset about our baby Luna. She now faces troubling issues trying to play and instead suffers again with pain that destroys her happiness. Luna goes to Forever Vets Animal Hospital and sees Dr. Cummins, but would have Dr. Gallipalli perform.

My Luna means everything to me. I just want her to be normal and able to run happily like a dog should. I am currently fresh out of college and in college debt. Working 5 days a week and making under $19/hour, it has been incredibly hard for me to save for her surgery.
