Luna is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Madison, ME, who needs $1,000 for Emergency Spay to Remove her Uterus.

Luna came into my life in the spring of 2019. I knew instantly that she was the one, so a friend and I went to pick her up when she was old enough. She currently lives with me and Harley, my cat. After much deliberation, I chose the name Luna, as it seemed to fit with her friendly, outgoing disposition, and her playful nature.

Luna needs emergency surgery for pyometra, an infection of the uterus. When her symptoms became severe, we brought her to the Madison Animal Hospital, where they found out she had a fever and a high white blood cell count, indicating infection. She has been given different medications, but they can't resolve the problem, she must have surgery for this life threatening condition.

Luna's favorite toys are her baby dinosaurs that hide in their treat filled volcano, and her monkey man. Her best friends are Cynthia and her dog Shiloh, they love to get together to play. Luna loves to romp in the snow, and to play rough.

As I am currently unable to work due to medical reasons, therefore, I do not have the funds to pay for this necessary surgery. Having this surgery will save her life and put Luna back on the road to recovery. It will be wonderful to see her happy and healthy again.
