Luna came into my life at 8 weeks old. A woman at a gas station was giving away puppies and at the time I was looking for a puppy just like her therefore I felt like it was meant to be. Luna and I have been homeless for nine months running from domestic violence. We have been through everything together and always been there for each other.

Luna is the sweetest dog you will ever meet she has a heart of gold and loves everyone but she is also very protective. Even when she's being protective she will do it in a loving way. Anytime I am upset she always knows and comes to find me to comfort me. She loves taking care of everyone and comforting everyone. So her being in this condition and not being able do anything is heartbreaking

When she was a baby she didn't understand that she was a dog because she was being raised by a cat and a human so she always tried to talk like me and clean herself like a cat. Later in life she realized she was a dog. Her favorite game is tug of war and playing ball, she's also obsessed with water and even though she plays rough she is gentle with children when playing especially special needs.

Luna was diagnosed with a pyometra by an urgent vet but I was unable to afford surgery and paid every time that I had just for diagnosis. She is now in critical condition after her uterus ruptured on the 13th. She is at the Riverstone Animal Hospital in Weatherford Texas with complications after surgery due to her body being so weak and her system in shock

I am disabled and been homeless for 9 months due to running from domestic violence. I spent everything I had on diagnosis a few weeks ago. Luna is everything to me and all I have in the world and I am all she has in the world. I have to save her like she's always saved me.
