About this campaign
Luna is an 8-year-old giant malamute hybrid living with her loving family of five humans, two older dog sisters, and a younger cat brother and sister. Despite her illness, she enjoys daily walks, though these have become increasingly challenging due to her pain. Luna's family is dedicated to her well-being, providing comfort and care as she battles her illness.
Luna has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a devastating cancer that has spread to her lungs. She requires a CT scan and possibly an ulnectomy to extend her life and improve her quality of life. The scan alone costs $4,000. Luna is currently receiving care at Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE) in Boulder, CO.
Luna is a cherished member of our family, known for her gentle nature and loving interactions with both her human and animal siblings. She’s always been the heart of our home, offering comfort and joy to everyone around her. Despite her pain, Luna continues to show her sweet, resilient spirit, and her presence brings us immense happiness.
After a difficult year marked by unemployment, we are financially strained and unable to afford Luna's necessary medical treatments. Having Luna healthy again would mean the world to us, giving her the chance to live out her days pain-free and allowing us to keep our beloved
