About this campaign

Luna lives with me and 6 other rescue kitties, that including her brother. She is the sweetest one of all and she mothers the rest of the group. All of my cats are best friends and the others all know something is wrong with Luna and have offered lots of love to her.
We just moved from Idaho and I am waiting for my massage therapy license to come through so I can start working again.

I have had Luna since birth and when she was old enough I just couldn’t let her go. She was the sweetest of the kittens and I can’t bear to think of her not in my life. We just finished building a catio attached to the house so they can be “outside” while still being indoor kitties. She loves the other cats and she is friendly to everyone she meets.

Luna is my snuggle kitty. She insists on sleeping with me in my bed, under the covers with her head on the pillow each night. If I don’t let her in or fall asleep before she comes to bed she will gently tap my nose to ask me to let her in the bed with me. I don’t ever sleep alone with her in my life.

Two days ago I noticed Luna was shaking her head and promptly made a vet appointment to find out what’s going on. In the two days I had to wait for her appointment her ear has swollen completely and it is completely closed. The vet said that surgery is required and there is no non-surgical option for her. Her veterinarian is wonderful but the cost of the surgery is more than I can afford.

I am a massage therapist and I just moved to CA from ID. I have been out of work while waiting for my license to transfer and it has caused me to get behind on my financial obligations. My cats mean the world to me and I consider myself to be a good and responsible pet owner
