About this campaign
Well About 8 years ago we lost our families best friend our Lab named Brittney. We had Brittney for over 15 years. As most families are we they lose a family member. We were all heartbroken. One day I was scrolling on social media, and I saw a post that a Husky had given birth to 5 puppies at a Starbucks, and they were at the shelter looking for their forever homes.
I felt it was a sign, so I contacted the rescue and told them I was interested in Chi (was her name at the time) We made an appointment to meet. We all feel in love with her instantly. Luna has came into our family and was the light we needed.
Luna has the most unique personality, she is nothing like our lab except in the fact of being a total family dog she loves her family so much, and we love her just as much back. If we go shopping at a certain store she knows there is going to be a squeaking toy for her in that bag as we walk through the door and like huskies do she talks to us all about it.
As we took her to our Vet. (Sylvan Corners Pet Hospital) for her annual checkup they found a mass in her ear which is growing at a rapid rate. The mass needs to be removed and biopsy.
At this time, we cannot afford this procedure, I know it is important not to delay for the health risk of Luna. Our car just ran into some major repairs which took the saving we did have.
