About this campaign
Luna came in to my life in such a unique way. At the time, I was struggling mentally and was seeking an emotional support animal. Luna happened to be a stray that was stuck in a tree. We saw her and needed to help. My friend climbed the tree and rescued Luna. We knew that she wasn’t meant for the outdoors and had to take her in a save her.
Luna is such an amazing companion. She does not like other cats as much but LOVES her dog friend! She loves her mommy and her daddy and gives them kisses so they know how much they mean to her! She’s such a vocal cat and loves to talk to her mommy! She lets us know when she’s hungry, bored, or just wants attention!
I have lost my job and have already spent over $1000 on testing, imaging, and medications. Since this was so unexpected, I have Spent all of my savings on getting her comfortable. This treatment will cure her hyperthyroidism and will restore her behavior!
Luna has gotten sick and two weeks ago stopped eating food and drinking water. her normal vet has diagnosed her with Hyperthyroidism. Since she has liver damage already, the prescription medication is not suitable as it can push her into liver failure. The only option for treatment is Radioactive iodine therapy which would restore her thyroid to function. The treating provider is Radiocat in L.A.
Luna is such a unique kitty. She doesn’t like other cats very much but doesn’t mind the dogs that are 10 times her size! Her best friend is an American bulldog, also named Luna. She wakes me up by licking my face when she’s ready for her morning meal time and she sleeps by my head every night! She knows when I’m sad and knows how to make me feel better.
