LUNA SARAH is a 2-year-old Labrador in Millville, NJ, who needs $2,000 for ACL Surgery.

Luna is my first dog, she is my light and life! We picked her out when she was 2 weeks old! Luna is a very active pupper, she loves hikes, swimming and hanging with her Momma. Luna had a partial tear in Feb. We tried everything to not let this happen, but ultimately she tore it completely Tuesday August 1st. We have tried to make the house as comfortable as possible, its been tough.

Luna sleeps with her Momma every night, and when her sister is home from college she will sleep with her and snuggles. Since the injury I have been sleeping in the living room with her because she can not do steps right now.

Luna is a very special girl. She is always so happy and friendly to everyone. She gives the biggest smiles when we come home. I suffer from severe anxiety, and she has become my angel! Always so happy to see me even when she is in pain.

She has a heart abnormality as well so surgery is going to be tricky, they said they need to change the medication to put her under which terrifies me.

This year has been absolutely awful. My college daughter tore her ACL & had surgery in December, my father had a heart attack in January, February Luna did a partial tear, March I had surgery and our home was broken into where the assailant got into my home, car broke down
