About this campaign
Luna came into our lives unexpectedly. One morning while heading out to buy breakfast, we saw a tiny kitten alone on the street. We couldn’t leave her there. We brought her home and named her Luna because she’s gentle, calm, and bright like the moon. She’s been with us ever since, and her loving energy has become a part of our daily life.
After rescuing Luna, we noticed her eye was cloudy and irritated. We took her to Vetco Total Care at Petco, Rego Park, NY, where she was diagnosed with a Corneal Ulcer. It's a painful condition that could cause blindness if untreated. Surgery may be needed, and treatment is urgent.
Luna is a sweet, playful kitten we rescued from the street. She follows us around the house, loves warm cuddles, and chirps like a baby bird when she's excited. Even though one of her eyes is blurry, she tries to explore everything fearlessly. Her energy and affection light up our home every day. She’s family now.
We’re currently struggling financially after job cuts and rising bills. Luna’s vet visits and eye treatment are beyond what we can afford. Insurance won’t help because it’s a pre-existing condition. Helping her get healthy would mean the world to us.
