About this campaign

Luna, an 8-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix, has been my beloved companion since her adoption. When I first saw her at the humane society, she screamed, pawed, cried, and even peed in excitement – I knew I was hers. Known by her joyful spirit and love for long walks, Luna has brought immense joy and love into my life. Her unwavering loyalty and boundless energy continue to inspire me every day.

Luna recently faced a serious health challenge with a spinal tumor. She underwent surgery at University of Missouri Veterinary Health to remove 75% of the tumor and is now showing promising signs of recovery. However, she needs radiation therapy to address the remaining tumor and prevent regrowth. Your support is crucial in helping Luna achieve a full recovery and enjoy a pain-free life.

Luna’s journey has been marked by her bravery and the immense love and support she has received. She is the rock of our house, and even in her pain up until she lost control of her hind legs, she was still trying to comfort me. She deserves our help.

Luna’s spinal tumor surgery and required radiation therapy have placed a heavy financial strain on us. We’ve already spent $4,000 on TPLO surgery, $4,000 on an MRI and $4,000 on neurosurgery, with $8,000 still needed for radiation. Your support will help Luna live pain free.
