About this campaign

Luna and her sister were rescued off the street in Florida as kittens and brought to Wisconsin by tourists, where she was given to a shelter. She was rehomed to me by a friend who wanted her to have a loving home with no dogs (she hates dogs!). She and her sister Kanea live with me in my apartment and are one of the great joys of my life.

Luna has a grade 3 luxating patella (slipped kneecap). She has been seen at Aurora Veterinary Care. She has been limping and required a pain injection and will need surgery to correct the problem to avoid arthritis and continuing pain and limited mobility in the leg.

Luna loves to play fetch! She and Kanea are some of the most affectionate cats in the world and their favorite pastime is to be with their person. She is a more active girl, which is why her hurt leg is so heartbreaking. She will snuggle up with just about anyone and wants nothing more than to get some scratches and attention.

I am on a fixed income with extremely limited financial ability. I had to use my savings to pay for the initial appointment at the vet to have the girls looked at and diagnosed. Please consider donating to their care! I want to give them long and happy lives with me.
