Luna is a 2-year-old Shih Tzu in Webster, FL, who needs $1,900 for Intravertebral Disc Disease (IVDD).

I remember the day my mom and I picked out Luna from a litter 4. We were so excited and we knew at first sight she was the one. Luna was put into our lives at a perfect time, I was suffering very bad from depression from several car accidents, PTSD and my mom and I were going through the lost of my father. Luna is full of life. She plays very much with her brother and sister cats. She thinks she’s a cat at times. Luna is always looking to be by my mom or I. Luna loves spending her time chasing her siblings around the house. Luna follows us around the house and is always looking for our attention. She loves car rides.

Luna’s best friends are her two cat siblings . Luna’s favorite treat is Blue Buffalo chicken nips. Luna’s favorite thing to do is chase Sasha(cat) around the house and snuggle with her when they get tired. Luna is always so happy wagging her tail and jumping all over. She brings so much light and hope to us.

On February 15, 2023, Luna was diagnosed with IVDD vs infection vs inflammation bs neoplasia. Luna is ambulatory and has an arched back and a Monterey weakness and lack of coordination in her back legs. Based on her neuro exam, we localized the Lesion to T3-L3, the middle of her back, and we are most suspicious of intravertebral disc disease (IVDD). intravertebral disc discs of the spinal column.

Unfortunately I don’t have the available funds to make this happen. My mom and I are on fixed income and placed all of our money on our first home we purchased a few years back that ended up needing a lot of repairs. My mom is on retirement and I’m on permanent disability.
