About this campaign

Luna was a rescue from Ghana Ohio. I rescued Luna 6 years ago and she was quite scared. I learned that Luna is afraid of loud noises, thunderstorms, etc. I make sure that nothing happens to her during those times and if a storm occurs during the night then I sleep with her. Luna has made the family room "her apartment" and is quite comfortable there. I just love her and everything about her.

Back in 1/25 Luna slipped on the snow/ice in the yard. I immediate took her to the hospital thinking it was her ACL. Was informed that it was a pulled groin then a month later told it was soft tissue damage, then ultra sound and eventually cat scan. Was informed it is osteosarcoma and needs radiation immediately or it will kill her. Having radiation treatment at Blue Pearl 4/23 and 4/24.

Luna is a real sweetie. She is easy to get along with and is quite docile. Because of her past, she is quite anal and when taken out of her element, she gets a little nervous. She has a rescued sister who will be 13 and a rescued brother who will be 4. They each get along very well and look out for each other. They share everything in the home including my love for all three of them.

I am a 77 year old woman on SS and work part time to supplement my income so I and my dogs can live a normal life in harmony. In reality I live paycheck to paycheck to survive. I would do anything for my dogs and only want them to have good health land my love
