Lunabell is a 8-month-old Chihuahua in Moyock, NC, who needs $2,000 for Bilateral Extracapsular Lateral Suture.

Lunabell was born May 4th, 2023 (may the force be with you). She is the runt of her litter & she’s a whopping 3.7 lbs! Since the day we got her we noticed, even though she loves playing fetch with her balls and being chased around, she mainly only uses 3 of her 4 legs.

After many vet visits, we concluded she has a misplacement in actually both of her knees. Her condition/birth defect is called Extracapsular. As her right knee is 3/4 of the worst, her left knee is 4/4 (the leg she holds up often). We’ve been lucky enough to not see her in any physical pain as she’s always been our hyperactive babygirl.

Without the surgery, her quality of life diminishes. She could also have permanent lameness, progressive severe arthritis, decreased activity level, and chronic knee pain. As she’s not even a year old yet, the success rate is higher if we get the surgery done sooner rather than later.

She has stolen our hearts since day one. We pray everyday to experience her & her tiny, but mighty personality for as long as possible! If you can, please, help us raise the money for her surgery to be done very soon! A little goes a long way & we’ll appreciate every penny!!
