Lupita Sweet Jean was born in our home, she was the runt of a litter of four and it was decided that she would stay here with her parents. She is three years old and a very shy and happy girl. She definitely loves the company of her mom and dad. Lupita nickname is Pita and her middle name Sweet Jean comes from a restaurant my son worked at.

Lupita began urinating in different areas of our home and was taken to the vet and treated for a UTI. When the issue didn’t go away, an X-ray was taken showing that she had a urinary stone. She is being treated by East Hartford Animal Clinic and is currently on wet and dry food that helps break down and prevent future stones but will unfortunately need surgery to remove the one she currently has.

Lupita’s best friend is her mom Marley, they cuddle everyday. She likes to run around the house wildly with her father Luka and play fight (sometimes). Her favorite snack is Churu and she loves playing with her toy bird that chirps. She’s a shy girl but cuddles with her human mom often. She loves to sit in the window and watch the world.

This year has been a very difficult one for our family, from my son being in a major car accident leaving him temporarily disabled to our home being sold, to my mother being diagnosed with breast cancer. Lupita’s vet visits, medication and pet food has been expensive.
