Luxor is a French Bulldog puppy in Chelsea, MA, who needs $2,000 for emergency surgery.

I purchased my puppy in Frederiksburg, VA. I currently live in Chelsea, MA I have a studio apartment. I am a first time pet owner and am eager to get Luxor back to 100%. She was born to a tan and chocolate Frenchie. She had 3 other siblings whom are happy and doing well in their new homes. She has been doing great here with me so far. She is very energetic and loves to play and cuddle.

She is very playful! She loves to jump (hence the accident) and loves to cuddle. She does great with children as she came from a breeder with 4 children under 4 at home. I've introduced her to many people and have taken her to the dog park which she enjoys. When she is not playing she is sleeping, as most babies love to do,

I was furloughed last spring due to the pandemic. I recently became employed for the school year but am digging myself out of the debt that was created due to the combination of no finances coming in and not being eligible for unemployment.

Luxor is currently at the VCA South Shore (Weymouth) Animal Hospital- she has a broken elbow and needs surgery. As of today, she has a 105.5 fever, is vomiting, and not keeping down liquids. She may have pneumonia and/or other GI issues. She's taken a turn and I am hoping with some financial support she can get the care she needs to get back to normal.

Shes special because she makes me feel important, She makes me feel like I matter. She was going to be my emotional support companion. Of all the therapies I've experienced, animal therapy helped me the most, which is why I got Luxor. Although I've only had her for a short period of time, we've created a special bond. I am devastated at what we are dealing with right now.
