Luxy is an 11-year-old Miniature Dapple Dachshund in Haughton, LA, who needs $1,500 for urgent care.

Luxy is a fighter, and she needs your help! During her life, she's battled and beaten Parvo, disc issues, infections, and now she needs a blood transfusion. Her human mom, Haley P., is scared to death -- not only because she's worried about Luxy, but because she can't afford to pay for all the medical care she needs.

"I’ve been on Medicaid for the past few years, unemployed, and I have depression," Haley tells Waggle. "I'm unable to pay for much. My husband just got work, but we have to find a place to live, which leaves us without much to pay."

Luxy keeps Haley going on her most challenging days, so this situation is devastating.

"I have to save her," Haley says. "I can’t lose her. This girl is the light of my life. She is the reason I’m alive today. She has been with me through the darkest times. She’s my angel, and she needs help. Please help me. I appreciate even just the support. I really do! She’s an angel, and she had gotten me through some rough stuff. I could never give up on her!"

Saving Luxy would mean the world to both Luxy and Haley.
