Lyric is a 8 year old Blue Lacy in New Braunfels, TX, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Procedure (Torn ACL).

Lyric is a blue lacy rescue dog that I got after losing my boxer. She was born on St. Patrick's Day so I consider her my good luck charm. The rescue team named her Lyric so I added Lyric Melody as her full name. She's been a joy and is now my only dog after losing my second boxer a year ago.

Lyric has been lucky so far with her health. Now at 8 years old she has torn her ACL and needs surgery that, as a school librarian, I can't really afford right now. I hate seeing her hop around because she can't put any weight on it and I would love to get the surgery scheduled as soon as I could.

I'm not married, have no kids so Lyric is my dog child and I love her very much. She spends days with my parents while I'm at work so she gets socialization there and when my brother brings his two dogs over to play. She is one of our family.

I am on a fixed income and all my money is going towards paying off debt right now. I'd love to not go into more debt opening a credit card or loan to pay for this expensive surgery. Anything helps!
