Lyric is very sick. He has aspirational pneumonia. Many dogs die from this disease. But the doctor said he has a very good chance of survival if treated properly since he’s only one year old. We are trying, but we’re not doing that great right now. He’s really struggling.

Lyric is a ONE year old patient at VEG in Tucson, Arizona. Veterinary Emergency Group. So far they have done x-rays, ultrasounds, bloodwork, and vitals.. They have ruled out Valley fever and pretty much everything and narrowed it down to aspirational pneumonia. This is always a serious disease, but lyric has a VERY severe case. He is not going to survive without oxygen treatment.

Lyric is the bestest dog. I know every dog is the best, but I would like to add that he is sweet to everybody. Sweet to every person, give soft kisses to children, and sweet to all other dogs. During his treatment he has never been upset with anybody poking him or moving him even though he is so sick. He is struggling to survive right now. Lyric is my world. I have no children and no other pets.

I have maxed out my credit cards at the emergency clinic and have applied for CareCredit which I got and will be also used up very quickly. I have a job, but I’ll never pay all of this back and even so I need more money to save my dog‘s life.
