Maci is our family dog. We got her shortly after getting married and the month before we purchased our first home as newlyweds. She came into our family when our daughter was only 6 months old and has been with us ever since.

Maci has the sweetest demeanor. She gets along great with our children, including our son who is on the spectrum. Even for being 11 years old, she has said patient with him. She is a lap dog and loves women.

Maci is sneaky at times and will always go hide when she knows we are leaving the house. That way she can lay around on couches and beds instead of her crate.

Maci was recently in an accident with a much larger dog. This accident cause issues that were noticed in the day following. We took her to the vet local to us. After xrays, it is determined her jaw was broken and would require surgery. He recommends a specialty vet clinic. The surgery would run between $3500 -$4000.00.

This is an unexcepted accident that occurred. Like most families, we live paycheck to paycheck and with also having a special needs child we don't have the savings to give her the best option. There is a small surgery that can be done but it would still be $1700.00.
