Mack is a 8-year-old English bulldog in Cathedral City, CA, who urgently needs $1,500 for stomach surgery!

My family and I adopted Mack when he was two years old he is now 8 going to be 9 in December. We were looking for a family pet , we were on a waiting list 4 people ahead of us and lucky we had the chance to adopt him :) Mack is really good when it comes to emotional support he’s my daughter emotional support dog she has anxiety and depression and these two are inseparable!

Mack is a diva ! My husband and daughter love to spoil him especially my daughter ! Even though bulldogs can’t be in the sun for long Mack loves to sunbathe ! He’s so loving and sweet . Loves to get on the couches and sleeps everywhere ! (He snores) He likes to comfort you and will stay by your side ! He’s adorable and good with kids. Doesn’t bark unless it’s to guard he’s really great !

Recently we lost 3 of our family members due to Covid weeks apart it’s been hard we had to pay all funeral expenses. I was laid off work so we don’t have the money to cover what he needs . We don’t want to put him down he means so much he’s a member of our fam not just a pet

About two ago months we took him to VCA Emergency since he was throwing up had a fever above 104. He didn’t want to eat we took him in and they said he was all fine they sent him home with medication. Last week went in again for the same reasons but just this time he fainted and he’s been spitting blood. He needs x-rays and stomach surgery.

Mack has a favorite teddy bear that he likes to suck on to go to sleep lots like his pacifier he sleeps with it every night ! He loves chicken . He really is a big baby there’s so much to say ! He doesn’t like the water he runs from the water hose. and he sleeps sitting down it’s the cutest , gives hugs to my daughter only
