About this campaign
We got Mackenzie a couple of years ago because we were looking for a companion for our rescue dog. We adopted her from a family who no longer could keep her due to financial/housing issues. She has been apart of our family for roughly three years. She is extremely lovable and protective. Mackenzie is a German Sheppard Huskie mix.
We got Mackenzie to be a companion to our rescue dog Jewls (both came with those names already). Our rescue was severely injured by her previous owners, leaving her with only one eye and three legs. Mackenzie is able to gently play with her and keep her company while my husband and I are at work. She is super sweet and loving.
Due to COVID-19, we are barely making it by with bills. Now Mackenzie requires a $830.00 surgery. This is potentially life threatening to her and week are seeking help financially. Anything helps.
My family means the world to me, and Mackenzie is family.
I took Mackenzie to Valley Veterinary Care, INC. to get her her annual shots. While she was there they found that a tumor pushing against her insides that have prevented her going into heat and could potentially be life threatening. She will need surgery to get it removed. The Veterinarian said it needs to be done as soon as possible to prevent further issues or damage to her.
Mackenzie is special because she not only helps make our family full, she helps with our rescue dog and is a great companion for her while my husband and I are at work. She loves playing around with our 3 year old and our 7 year old too. She is very gentle and loves giving out hugs. She loves receiving attention and repays you back by cuddles and kisses.
