Maddy is a 9 year old American Longhair in Clinton Township, MI, who needs $2,000 for Saddle Thrombus Treatment.

The summer of 2016 I was working at PetCo when this sweet little girl was brought in and placed for adoption. Something about her drew me in immediately, and the rest is history. She was 9 months old and had had a litter of kittens who all found their forever homes. She and I bonded instantly, and she came home for a “trial run.” It’s 9 years later, and she’s still the best choice I ever made.

Maddy was diagnosed with saddle thrombus, which generally has a very poor prognosis due to the severity of the condition. However, she was incredibly stable and responsive when we found the blood clot, and doctors think she might be able to make a recovery with the right supportive care and treatment. She’s current being treated at Blue Pearl in Southfield, MI.

Maddy is the queen of sass, but hands down the most loving and comforting cat I’ve ever met. She has a way of knowing when you need a little love and attention and will just exist with you until you’re feeling better. She’s the best big sister to Rosey and Truffles, keeping our house in order better than I can, but she’s also a big softie at heart.

The cost of this treatment was completely unexpected, and the level of care is high. Receiving help will allow me the comfort of knowing she had the best chance possible at coming out of this with rapid intervention. We all want Maddy home ASAP❤️
