About this campaign

Meet Madeline — a gentle, soulful senior cat whose golden years took a heartbreaking turn.

After her beloved human passed away, Madeline was left alone in the world. Confused and grieving, she found herself without the home and comfort she once knew. That’s when Operation Liberation stepped in — to make sure her story didn’t end in sadness.

Operation Liberation recently took Madeline to the vet for what they hoped would be a routine senior check-up and dental exam, but what they discovered broke their hearts. She was suffering from such severe dental disease that she needed a full mouth extraction — every single tooth had to be removed to relieve the constant pain she had likely been enduring in silence.

They're also waiting on the results of her senior panel to check for any age-related health concerns. On top of that, Madeline has started having trouble using the litter box, which may point to a urinary issue. Unfortunately, she was so scared during her vet visit that she urinated in her carrier, so the vet team wasn’t able to collect a sample for testing that day.

She may have lost her home, but she hasn’t lost her spark. Madeline still seeks out a gentle hand, a warm place to rest, and someone to love her — and we believe she deserves all of that and more.
Please give what you can to help Madeline find peace in her senior years.
