Madison May is a 9-year-old Boxer in Pueblo, CO, who needs $2,000 for tumor removal.

Marlanena K.'s husband rescued Madison out of the back of a convertible. He brought her home, and the entire family fell in love with the pup.

Then Marlanena's husband was in a terrible accident that left him in a coma for almost a month! Thankfully he finally came out of the coma, but he will be disabled for the rest of his life.

Madison has been crucial to their family during this time and has never left his side.

Recently the family noticed a tiny growth on Madison's gums. They brought her to the veterinarian, who diagnosed it as a tumor.

The family is heartbroken, worrying it might be cancer. The first step is removing the growth, a surgery they can't afford.

"I work part-time because I help care for my husband," Marlanena tells Waggle. "We live on a strict budget. We love Madison and would give all we have to make sure she is happy and healthy."
