About this campaign

We lived near a swamp and my 12 yo son found this kitten with her umbilical cord still attached. He brought her home and I called my husband and told him and he said we aren’t keeping that kitten and I Informed him we were. I had just recently found out I miscarried and I told Mae Mae she was a baby without a MaMa and I was a MaMa without a baby and we needed each other. She was bottled fed.

Mae Mae loves to sleep above my head ion my pillow - She loves wet food and if you have cereal she will stare at you and wait for you to give her some milk- She doesn’t like strangers -Mae Mae will ride on my shoulder while I walk around the house - she has done this since she was a kitten- She tolerates our yellow lab- she just watches him like a hawk -

If Mae Mae pulls through this she will be Inside all the time - I just want my baby back home sleeping on my pillow - She is so special to me-Any amount will help and I will be greatly appreciative.

We aren’t sure what is wrong with Mae Mae - she can hardly walk- vets seem to think it is either FIP or a blood clot causing her problems -we should have more answers tmmrw when her blood test get back. Goldsboro Vet is helping Mae Mae
Feel comfortable right now they have recommended we go to NCSU vet school for treatment however we can’t afford it - any amount will help- please help Mae Mae

Mae Mae is a very vocal kitty- Mae Mae likes climbing into containers- boxes etc. she likes being under stuff. I have found her in my closet in a basket fast asleep- Mae Mae loves to be loved - if I’m sleeping she will give me kisses to wake me up - like she bumps me with her nose on my face - she used to get under my bed and play with my toes if I moved -
