About this campaign

Meet Maggie, a 7 y/o Jack Russell/Italian Greyhound mix. She was on the euthanasia list at the Saginaw TX shelter. She had been found as a stray and was in HORRIBLE shape, absolutely filthy, had incredibly long nails, looked like they had never in her life been cut, she was skinny and she has a plum sized lump hanging from her belly.

She was shivering with fright, and obviously, she had not been well taken care of. Maggie needs exploratory surgery on the mass (the vet thinks it's a hernia, but won't know until surgery), dew claw removal, and to be spayed. Our moto at Pooch Savers is "Every dog deserves a second chance."

In the few days we've had her, she has already made strides with her fearfulness. She loves to get belly rubs and really, any attention, and likes to give kisses. She will come through all this with a new chance at life!
