Maggie is a 8-year-old American Pitbull in Horseshoe Bay, TX, who needs $2,000 for CCL Surgery.

Sweet Maggie is an 8 year old rescue Pitbull from California. Her previous owner passed away from cancer. She couched surfed with family for a year till she landed in a kill shelter. Fortunately a kind human saw her on the euthanasia list and knew she had to be saved. She was then picked up from a small rescue. We saw a photo of her in 2021 and knew she was a part of the family.

Maggie’s (Moo or Magenstein) favorite place is in your lap. She is an extremely empathetic soul. She knows nothing but love and sees value in everyone she meets.
She is a fetch master and loves her sniff walks. If she’s not cuddling with a human, she cuddling with the other animals in the house. She has never met a stranger! Anyone that comes in the house is a lifelong friend to her.

Maggie’s favorite person is her mama. (As she is mine) She also loves her dog cousin Memphis! Her favorite toy is a spiked squeaky ball and her Dilly. (Alligator) She loves to howl at the TV and bark at the deer. Maggie has changed my life for the better. She looks at you like you’re the only person in the world. A look in her eyes helps me get through the day. She has brought our family together

Maggie was playing fetch and tore a ligament in her knee that requires surgery. Treatment would require surgery and aftercare medication.
At the moment she is currently on 2 anti-inflammatory medications and supplement to keep her comfortable.
She is being treated our local vet clinic but if money is raised for the surgery, she will be referred to a local specialist.

I am on a fixed income, and have a disability that inhibited me from working for 6 months. I currently have a job but can’t afford the surgery. Maggie is my light and seeing her in pain and not being able to help is killing me. I will do whatever I can do get help for Moo.
