Maggie is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Landmark, MB, who needs $2,000 for TPLO.

This is Maggie! She is an 8 year old Husky/Lab etc. mix. She is our baby, we have had her since she was a puppy. We rescued her from the Humane Society and shes been with us ever since, we have another dog in our house, their best friends her name is Elsa, and she is a loving dog to our 4 year old daughter and soon to be additional one!

Maggie needs her knee done, we have taken her to the vet, and now a specialist, hoping it wasn't the case, but it is. We have been quoted on a low end $4,800 CAD and on a high end $5,500.00 for the procedure to be done (TPLO) at Oakbank Animal Hospital.

She is a goofy, loving, LOUD....menace! She thinks she's a lap dog, and I swear she thinks her "woos" are quiet even though they wake up the whole neighborhood, she is so gentle and loves people and all animals big or small....just a big Oaf.

This expense is obviously very unexpected, we just had to come up with our other dogs Lateral imbrication (similar to what Maggie needs but cheaper) and have now been double hit. On top of that I am pregnant and going on maternity leave (Government assistance).
