Maggie is a 5 year old Siberian Husky in Melbourne, KY, who needs $1,700 for Mammary Mass Removal.

Maggie is our family dog, in reality she's my daughter's dog. The two of them are the best of friends and have been since my grandfather got Maggie for Cadie 5 years ago. Maggie is in need of surgery to remove the mass. Unfortunately we cannot afford this surgery and need help so my daughter doesn't lose her best friend. Any help would be greatly appreciated to keep these two together.

A little over a year ago we had Maggie spayed. She developed a small lump near the incision and were told it may just be inflammation and would probably subside on its own. Spring forward to this past October and it began growing. We took her to Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital and was told by Dr. Hernandez surgery was required and her lungs were clear of mets. It will cost between 900 and 1700.

Maggie loves cuddles and playing with not only my daughter but also her two doggie siblings. Maggie is extremely affectionate and protective. In the snow she is full of energy and loves running and jumping through it. In the summer she loves basking in the sun and going for walks. She likes car rides and exploring. She is an attention seeking dog always searching for any family to get hugs.

We are on a fixed income mostly living paycheck to paycheck. I do not work due to my health and we rely solely on my husband and the pay from his job. It would mean the world to have Maggie healthy again and to be able to eliminate our worries for her.
