Maggie is a 7-year-old Mix in Richmond, TX, who needs $1,000 for Dental Cleaning.

I rescued Maggie in Dec. 2016. She was heartworm positive, had ear mites and a bad skin infection. I took her too my Vet who took care of my Maggie for 6 years until she sold out her practice to join her husband who was transferred to New York. Maggie is my baby and I don't know what I would do without her. She and her 2 cat siblings are my life. Maggie is the reason I get out of bed each morning.

Maggie is number one in the home - if I call either Joey or Emma (her cat siblings), she makes sure she is closest to me or she jumps into my lap to make sure she is closest!
She loves to go on walks and will wait by the door until I get my shoes on. I'm not sure if she likes eating or walks best. She tries to play with the cats, but they won't play with her so she plays fetch with me instead!

Maggie has Joey and Emma who mostly ignore her. Joey will swat her on the bottom when Maggie is not looking. Maggie likes to play fetch, keep away and hide & seek with me. Her favorite toy is a green Kong monkey. She likes her toys best after she has taken all the stuffing out. Maggie does not use the doggie door - the cats do! I have to open the door for her!

Maggie had heartworms and a bad skin infection when I adopted her, but she is now healthy thanks to regular checkups and heartworm prevention. Maggie had to go on a diet once but is at a nice weight now. Her only problem is that her teeth need to be cleaned. I try to do my best bushing them, but her teeth are "all over the place" with the canine teeth bent upwards.

I am retired living on Social Security. I am still recovering from a broken wrist. I try my best to take care of my babies and do provide pet insurance, but the insurance I have only covers preventive services not dental cleaning. I'm afraid that Maggie will have painful te
