Maggie joined our family in 2020 after being adopted from a family with an accidental litter. From the start, she has been an incredible companion—sweet, loving, and full of personality. She absolutely adores our children and has always been gentle and affectionate with them. Over the years, we have fostered other animals in our home, and Maggie has been the best hostess.

Maggie suffered severe injuries, including major swelling and bruising. Both of her front legs are broken—one has a full fracture with the bone exposed, while the other has displaced metatarsal bones near her wrist.

She was initially treated at Northwest Animal Hospital, and her orthopedic surgery will be performed by Dr. Payne, a specialist who provides services at the clinic a few times a month

Maggie is caring and cautious. She sleeps in my daughter’s room and keeps her safe at night, providing her comfort. She is goofy and gets along with cats as well as her sisters. When you get home even if you’re gone for five minutes, she will smile so big when you get home and she will tell you all about her day. She’s a talker, but also an attention seeker. We love her to pieces.

Although we always prepare for the worst financially, we never expected to have 2 dogs needing 3 specialty surgeries at once. They will also require many weeks of recovery and medication.
