About this campaign
Eighteen years ago, I started a beautiful relationship with a Tennessee Walking Horse who was just 6 months old.
Magnum has been my lifeline, my therapist, my child, and the love of my life. He now requires medical treatment for and injury sustained on his nose. He has a growth that is getting bigger. He will be treated at Cornell Equine Hospital in Ithaca, NY
I am looking to have Magnum treated at Cornell Equine Hospital in Ithaca, NY . We have had two different veterinarians do preliminary x-rays. Magnum now needs a biopsy and then treatment to remove a growth that is becoming larger. At this point we do not know if it is a cancerous tumor or just a benign growth.
Magnum has been with me for 18 years. He is family. He is utilized in a 4-H program and has also been utilized as an emotional therapy horse for those with behavioral or cognitive symptoms. He loves children and adults. He was previously used as an ambassador horse for the MSSPA as he was so well behaved. He is my life and not only is he special to others, he is my special boy.
I have been placed on disability and that is my only current income other than horse, or farm sitting side jobs. I was doing fine until I was disabled. I am single and older, have no family to rely on or to borrow from. I have set up a fund raiser for late August 2024
