Maisy is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Sebring, FL, who needs $2,000 for Blood Transfusion.

We rescued Maisy and her sister Millie a year ago. We originally went to the shelter for Millie and we're told that there was another rescue from the same puppy mill. We took one look at those big brown eyes and said we will take both. The sweet dogs have changed our life and we are so grateful for both of them.

Maisy became ill suddenly. Normally she is a very peepy puppy. She wakes up full of energy and life. This particular morning she was lethargic. We took her immediately to the vet who then sent us to an animal hospital after taking a blood test. Maisy has a rare autimmune disease where her body is destroying her blood cells. She has had one blood transfusion and needs another one.

Maisy is the sweetest cockapoo. She is full of life and had brought so much joy to our family. In the past 2 yrs, I've lost my mom, my 16 yr old bichon mix dog, and my brother in law. Maisy and a Millie has helped us thru the dark days and given us lots of smiles and laughs.

We are retired and on a fixed income. We have 2 children getting married in 2025. Currently our dog hospital bills are over $5k dollars and our Maisy needs another blood transfusion which cost over$2k. We are so close to getting her over the hump but are out of money.
