Maizey has been in my life since she was just 5 weeks old. She was named after the ‘corn’ as it was fall. Maizey keeps me moving forward, bringing laughter and happiness to my days. She means the world to me, and her well-being is so important for both of us.

Maizey developed an ingrown hair growth in between her head and ear that now requires surgery. It has made her everyday movements, playtime, and sleeping uncomfortable. To keep her safe, she has to wear an E-Collar whenever she’s not right by my side, which makes things even harder for her.
The growth is benign and will not need further care. Couple stitches and lots of love and hugs Dr. B says.

Maizey wants to get back to enjoying life, playing, and resting comfortably without the burden of the collar or the growth that flaps when she shakes. She loves being outside and watching the squirrels & bunnies.

Maizey is very vocal, sassy and I love it!! She keeps everone straight! She loves her daily routine with my husband and then laying near/with me during the day when I’m working.

Maizey is very much a part of my emotional support due to the fact that I have End Stage Renal Failure. I have anxiety/panic attacks and she knows what to do. I am on very limited Social Security and cannot afford this surgery. I love my Maizey and I long for her happiness
