Maizie is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Winterville , NC, who needs $2,000 for TPLO.

Born in the Bahamas on the streets. At 7months put in the kill shelter & the humane society in Naples fl took her in, where I met Maizie & she chose me. We moved to NC now she’s a country girl, running after squirrels, chasing the neighbors dogs along the fence, playing with other dogs & swimming the beach. Now at the age of 10 she has blown her knee out & needs TPLO surgery.

Maizie has been taking Librela for about 6 months but last month she had her injection & was limping 2 weeks later & holding her back leg up. Thought it was starting loose effect so took her in for a visit & the vet said that she has ccl tear. Gave us meds to help with the pain & rest maybe scar tissue could possibly heal on its own. She needs TPLO surgery Creedmor rd Animal Hospital

Maizie Loves me & my mom. My mom has had 3 traumatic injuries that Maizie has witnessed & now is very protective of my mom, When my mom is trying to stand up, Maizie will nudge her to help her up. When my mom gets up Maizie is proud of herself, she will get her lamb, bring it to you and wigglebutt her tail. Me she is at my side every step. Loves car rides, swimming, snuggles & butt rubs & more.

I take care of my mom 24/7, I cannot go to work. We were on cap program (paid me to care for her) but lost that program. My mom, myself, 2 cats & Maizie live off her little amount of Social Security. We have no resources left to get her surgery.
