Major is a 6-year-old Toy Poodle in Atlanta, GA, who needs $1,900 for Cataract Removal.

I rescued Major four years ago from an abusive home. The Mom could to take care of him and was admittedly beating him for everything. She reached out to a rescue group I was a part of and I went to pick him up. Once I had him, he cuddled up to me and I knew he was grateful to be out of that environment.

Major is fun loving and plays with his other rescue brother and sisters. I can't have children and as a single woman he brings so much joy to my home. He loves neck kisses and cuddling. Anytime I am walking through the house he follows me. He likes to sleep right beside me and he loves to ride In the car feeling the wind on his face!

Unfortunately Covid has affected my job hours and I am also a full time student at Georgia State, graduating this summer! I work part time as a personal assistant and make just enough to take care of the household bills.

Major has had knee surgery and very recently bee diagnosed as a diabetic. As a result of the diabetes he has been diagnosed with Cataracts in both eyes. We're told he is a great candidate for retina surgery. He is being treated at Blue Pearl, Howell Mill Rd, Atlanta. His Dr. is Dr. Monk and she is heaven sent.

Major is special because he moans when you kiss his neck or scratch his neck. He loves to play with socks and the cat! He is a lover and likes to flirt with the other dogs as they pass the house. Eve though he is 80 percent blind, he still likes to go for walks and loves attention. Major also likes to invite you to rub his tummy by roiling over.
