About this campaign
Major was a gift to our family last year. We bought him from a breeder in Wisconsin and have been in love with him ever since. He instantly became a part of the family and we enjoy his playful, energetic spirit. Major has a huge yard to play in and a pool to keep cool in the summer. He enjoys laying on the couch and spending time with the family.
Major is an energetic Rottweiler who loves to have his belly rubbed. He enjoys playing in our large backyard with his toys. He is great with people and even though he may look big and intimidating, he is the most lovable dog. As soon as we walk in the door, he jumps up for us to pet and plays with him.
Due to Covid-19, I am currently unemployed and unable to incur the cost of the surgery needed for Major. At this time I was only able to pay for the cost of a splint, x-rays, and pain medication. I have contacted the ASPCA and other organizations to find some assistance.
Unfortunately, Major broke his hind leg while playing in the yard. He suffers from a tibia and fibula fracture which will require surgery to put a plate in the leg to heal properly. He is only 1 year old and we want him to be an energetic and lovable dog without any defects. He is up to date on all his vaccines and has no other health issues.
Our first Rottweiler Max passed away a few years ago and we have missed every day. He was irreplaceable but Major has filled the void in our lives. Whenever you approach him he lies down so you can rub his belly. He loves to get walk into the pool and wade around in the water. He enjoys fetching the ball in the backyard.
