Makai is a 10 Month Old English Springer Spaniel in Holiday, FL, Who Needs $2,000 for AGASACA Mass Removal.

Makai was given to me as a gift to offer companionship and fill a void in my life. She has remained by my side through many ups and downs. When my mother lived with me, she and Makai became best friends. Since my mother’s passing, Makai and I miss her every day, and she continues to help make life a little easier to bear.

Due to a fatty mass on abdomen that was getting infected, surgical intervention was recommended by All Pets Hospital. Although raising the necessary funds was challenging, I was able to cash in some retirement savings to cover the cost. During surgery, a small mass was incidentally discovered in her anal area, from which a sample was taken and sent for cytology. Unfortunately it was + for AGASACA.

Makai loves everyone she meets. She rarely barks. She loves her toys and sometimes will have all scattered throughout the house. She is one of the best dogs. Has never chewed on anything that is not hers. She is an amazing dog that is loved by all.

I cared for my mother until she sadly passed away a year and a half ago. After that, I became the caregiver for another family member who is on hospice, with no income. My dog is currently healthy, but they’ve said it’s an aggressive cancer, needing removed. I can' loose her
