About this campaign
We adopted Malak from Specialty Purebred Rescue, he is a beautiful Lynx Point Siamese cat. He was a stray cat for about 2 years before being picked up by the rescue and then adopted by us. Although, we did start off by keeping him indoors for the first two years, his attempts to get outside increased, and so now he is an indoor outdoor cat. He loves the outdoors.
Malak got injured on his back leg. We do not know how he got hurt. The vet cleaned it out and bandaged it. The bandage needs to be changed a few more times to ensure it heals properly. The toes on that leg are fractured, and there is an infection. If proper care is not given, his leg will have to be amputated.
Malak is a sweet and gentle cat. He's been around kids from newborn and up and is gentle and curious with everyone. Not much fazes him. He's a beautiful, handsome cat who loves attention and the outdoors. It's a challenge to keep him inside. He thrives outside but is super gentle inside. He will come to you for pets and sit in your lap.
Malak has already been to the vet several times and undergone surgery for the wounds on his leg. This is the last step in his healing process; however, we have spent around $2000 already and have maxed out the care credit. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
