In 2010, I was very depressed and a friend suggested adopting a cat. We visited shelters for about 2 months and then one day I was sitting on the floor in a cat room and this little black cat came and laid on my lap and turned his belly up and purred. Malcolm chose me and saved my life that day. It was the 2 of us until 2018 when I adopted Tiffany. We are now a family of 3 in a 500sq ft studio.

Malcolm sleeps on human furniture only. He has a sister (Tiffany). He adores her and they cuddle, groom each other, chase each other. Malcolm welcomes everyone who comes over with love. He sits in the window and watches the birds eat from the feeder. He also likes to chatter at the stray cat that comes on our porch through the screen door. Malcolm is indoors only. I have been employed for 11 months and do not have the savings built up for this procedure. Malcolm always makes me feel better when I am down. I just want him to be happy and healthy again so he can have an amazing quality of life. He is so loving, he deserves the best.

Malcolm has had eye inflammation for a little while now that was being treated with anti-inflammatory drops and steroids. Malcolm has Lens Luxation, which means his lens is no longer attached and moves around his eye. He has a cloudy eye and only limited near sighted vision left. Malcolm has to get his diabetes under control to get his eye surgery and get his teeth cleaned at the same time.

Malcolm is Amazing. HE snores, acts like a dog, comes when you call him, falls over when you tell him no, cleans his sisters ears, sleeps on the pillow next to me, chirps at birds/squirrels, licks my eye when he wants catnip, howls at 2am for no reason, sits on my feet while I wash dishes, rubs on your ankles when you visit, guides my hand to where he wants to be scratched, did I mention he snores
