Mallow is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Mesa, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Exploratory Abdomen Surgery.

We found Mallow almost 7 years ago as a tiny baby, approximately 4 weeks old, in a dumpster nustled in a grocery carrier. We took her home and named her Mallow because she looked like a Marshmallow. We've since had a daughter who is almost two and these two are best friends. Along with her two siblings that are miniature dachshunds and love her. Mallow will spend time grooming them and cuddling!

Mallow has an intestinal blockage due to eating a string. Surgery is needed or she will die because she cannot keep food or water down. We are in a critical timeframe as it's been several days without her eating. We've been able to provide vet care up to this point but can't afford the surgery.

Mallow and my almost 2 year old daughter are attached at the hip. When my daughter wakes up, she looks for her, and when she goes down for bed she gives her goodnight snuggles and kisses. Mallow also provides comfort to our male dachshund who was born without airway for four minutes creating a mental deficit. He gets scared so easily but her gentleness and kind soul soothes him in times of need.

I am a full time student and new mom while my husband is designated severely mentally ill. He is on state insurance and while we manage our finances well, we cannot afford her emergency surgery after spending $1,200 on prior treatment. She needs us, as we need her.
