About this campaign
I adopted Mama Moo the day before Super Bowl Sunday. The woman I adopted her from was a saint and didn't ask for a single penny. I put down my 12 year old dog two days before Thanksgiving 2019 and Moo put my heart back together. Moo was in two homes where she was abused and is still really scared of the world. She has come out of her shell so much and I take her everywhere with me.
Moo cuddles with me every night. When she is in a deep sleep, she snores really loud and nothing makes me happier. My mom and Moo are best friends and my dad is helping to teach her that not all men are bad. My brother's puppy loves Moo and wants to be with her 24/7. They play together everyday and cuddle when they wear each other out. She has become a vital member of the family.
I am about to graduate from college and due to COVID-19, I don't have a job right now. I am getting some compensation, but nowhere enough to cover the cost of the MRI. I lost a dog in November and I can't loose Moo, she is my whole world.
Two days ago, Moo's left eye got cloudy and reflective and I worried that she was going blind. Our amazing vet, Dr. Christina Hutson, recommended us to an eye specialist because she was afraid it was lens luxation. The eye specialist recommended we go to a neurologist because everything in her eye was fine. There seems to be a problem with her cranial nerve 3 and needs an MRI to diagnose properly.
Moo loves to be outside. When she walks, her bottom shakes from side to side and her tail is wagging like crazy. My mom always says, "You want some fries with that shake?". All Moo wants to do is cuddle and give kisses. She likes to sit on my computer when I work because she believes all attention should be on her. When you see her, you can't help but smile.
