About this campaign
Mamash was a stray in the streets of Oakland. She resembled my partners older cat as she is also a calico. I took her in and got her vaccinated. Within a week I found out her leg was broken. She is a very strong kitty and was able to hide her pain but I noticed she was limping. She is now living her best life as an active indoor only tripod.
Mamash is an indoor kitty which means her day to day is composed of the same habits she enjoys. She interacts with my partners older calico cat, Maria in a very playful yet caring manner. She enjoys kisses, belly rubs, chin rubs from my partner and I. She is the crazy kitty out of the two, nothing has stopped her from enjoying life.
Mamash is my very first pet ever, I absolutely love her. She’s active, cuddly, and gives the best purrs. She enjoy running in circles around the coffee table and chasing her tail. She enjoys chasing after ball and playing fetch. But her most favorite thing is standing by the window looking at birds, the trees and sunbathing.
Mamash had her amputation procedure at Woodland Veterinary Hospital. So when I noticed a light pink discharge I contacted them. They were able to set up an appointment for an exam. She was given a clean bill of health with the exception of presence of uroliths. The veterinarian recommended a cystotomy and at estimate of $2760.57 for the procedure.
This was a shocking unexpected expense that I am not able to afford, as much as I would love to. At the moment, my partner and I depend on my income to cover basic bills and expenses thus there is no flexibility as I am also indebted from her last procedure.
