Mamba came into my life unexpectedly. I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old. Our bond is off the charts. She is the sunshine to my cloudy days, and I would like to think I am the same for her. You can see the love in her eyes, especially since she thinks she’s a lap dog. Her and my kids play together non stop, she’s like their sister.

Mamba loves to swim, hike, and play games with her dog and human brothers. Anytime there is a body of water she will gladly play in it. Her favorite is the beach. She loves to sleep with her younger human brother, and can eat a bag of carrots and call it a treat. She mothers any animal that is smaller than her, and will always make sure they aren’t getting bullied.

Mamba is a talker for sure, she has a little bit of a sassy back talk, but she owns it. She will greet you with her dog talk and do somersaults all around your feet. If she really likes you she will shake her entire body like a worm till you pet her. Her and I love taking naps together, where she’s the blanket, but I think it’s really the other way around.

I am trying to figure out what is wrong with mamba. I’ve taken her to the emergency vet and they said she drank dirty water or had a UTI. It wasn’t that. So I took her to another vet and they recommended she get an ultrasound, so I made her an appointment to do so. Where they said they didn’t see anything wrong with her. Now they want to do a CT scan on her to figure out what’s wrong with her.

The pandemic has been hard on me and I am not financially stable for this unexpected amount of money that needs to be spent, I’ve gotten care credit and it’s not enough for all things needed.
