Mambacita came into my life six years ago as a gift from my son. I was suffering from the loss of my previous Dachsund and I was so devastated. She has filled the emptiness in my heart and I have been blessed to have her in my life. My family and I are huge Lakers "Kobe" fans and that's how we selected her name, Mambacita.

Mambacita is needing surgery for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy and Patella Luxation Repair. TPLO will neutralize the forces on the knee joint and the patella luxation repair will put the kneecap back in its proper position. The surgery will correct both issues at the same time. I know Mambacita gets frustrated when she can't stand and it makes me so sad to see her trying so hard to walk.

I am Mambacita's favorite person, but her fav friend is Gigi, my sons long haired Doxie. They both get extra treats for being too cute. I love to watch Cita get her zoomies after her bath. She is my everything and always makes me happy, she knows when I need extra love from her. When I carry her, I continue to tell her that I will always be her arms and legs for as long as she needs me to be.
