Manchitas is a 13-year-old Mix Terrier in Commerce City, CO, who needs $2,000 for Vulvar Mass Excision and Mastectomies.

Manchita's was given to us by a coworkers who was trying to find a good home for the puppy. She was so tiny and adorable that we couldn't say no. Manchitas has always been active and very playful. As a puppy she used to sleep in odd areas that we would be scared thinking we lost her. We named her Manchitas which is Spanish for spots. Ever since we had her, she has been the Baby of the family.

Even though we treat Manchitas like the baby of the family, she is also the guardian of the family. She protects every family member if she thinks they are being attacked. She loves cuddles and loves treats.

Like any other dog, Manchitas LOVES food. And at night she loves to sleep on my bed and follows me wherever I go. I had Manchitas since she was only a couple of months old. She's been raised with my kids and therefore has been treated like one. She is and will always be my baby no matter how old she gets.

Manchita initial has a small mass on her vulva which her vet thought was Pyometra, a uterine infection and a serious life-threatening infection. We took her to multiple hospitals for evaluation but they were unable to treat it and weren't to sure of what the mass is. They recommended to put her down or find her an Oncologist. We found a specialist who is able to treat her with a positive outcome.

Manchitas does require three surgeries since she also has multiple mammary masses. In total the estimate is of $17,753.02. This cannot be covered with my low income. I am 61 yrs old and also have my own health issues. And it has been difficult finding assistance for my baby.
