Mango came to me at roughly 6 weeks old after we had been misled about his age and gender. Despite this confusion, he is the best thing that could have happened to me. He is now 6 years old as of May 1st and is my whole life as cheesy as it sounds. He has become my emotional support animal for anxiety and potential autism. he has helped me through so much including going to college with me.

It has been said that orange male cats are more prone to have urinary tract problems and Mango may be proof of that. When he was 1 and a half years old he developed his first crystal blockage which resulted in an expensive emergency vet visit and treatment. We recently noticed signs of a urinary blockage again and promptly got him to Balsam Animal Hospital for treatment.

In addition to being my ESA and whole world, Mango is just a precious boy. He loves meeting new people and enjoys small adventures. He became a support system for other college students in our dorm and a small celebrity around the campus. He loves his "siblings" and is frequently snuggled up with one of my other cats or one of the foster cats.

I am a disabled college student with no great way of earning an income. I am also actively recovering from spine surgery making it impossible for me to ignore my physical issues and get a job to help cover his veterinary bills. My family is helping as much as they can,
