About this campaign
Mango was gifted to me for Christmas and I received him in December of 2019. We got to spend all of quarantine together bonding! He is enrolled at Kent State University just like his mom and plans to receive his bachelors in science this summer! Mango lives in a college apartment with his mom and dad and receives lots of attention from their friends. He is the happiest, purriest boy in the world!
Mango suffers from a very rare Entropion in the bottom of his right eye. This causes him to consistently be on medicine, while also hindering his sight and quality of life. Surgery is costly and my vet is doing everything they can to reduce the cost. Mango is seen at the Chagrin Valley Veterinary Clinic by Dr. Ali who plans to complete his surgery.
Mango is the silliest, sweetest, cuddliest boy we have ever known. He loves getting scratched by his tail and will often be seen "corncobbing" (licking/biting out of affection). Mango can also be found often vegging in front of the tv, watching bird videos and trying to catch the squirrels behind the screen. I have also never met a cat that purrs louder! He loves to lay on his mom and dads chest!
I am currently in my senior year at Kent State University, so finding time to balance work and school can be extremely challenging. Mango has dealt with poor vision his entire life, so getting him the care he needs would alleviate an immense amount of stress.
